Silvia Berghammer

German lyric soprano Silvia Berghammer is a very versatile singer.                                              Her opera and concert repertoire spans all genres of music, from  Baroque and Romantic to Contemporary.                                                                                                                                   She holds a Master of Music Degree in Singing Teaching from the University Mozarteum in Salzburg and a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague. 

She was honoured with the Mendelssohn prize and was prize winnar of the Mendelssohn - Competition in Frankfurt a. M. in october 2010.

Silvia Berghammer lives in Almere (a city about 20 kilometres from Amsterdam, Netherlands).

Alongside her activities as opera and concertsinger, she also teaches the Swedish/Italian School of Singing.
